I'm Jialin(Jelly) Deng!
Initiated by Jialin (Jelly) Deng, project Whispery Savoury takes our understanding of senses when eating and drinking into a whole new level. It is the way forward to enhancing the eating experience by highlighting the underlying correlations of multi-sensory modalities. As a Food Designer and Researcher, Jialin believes that food can be thought, perceived, and digested in brand new ways through designing novel food-related interactions.
As the food is no longer just an object to maintain life or to fill appetite, but a unique medium to carry identity, memory, and civilisation, food design is a process of awakening our cognition, and exploring the relationship between human and the world by reconstructing how we live with food.
